Few Common Mistakes Made in Ramazan

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)
When it comes to Ramadan and its blessings we are to flourish each and every part of our body and soul, the entire submission to nothing else but Allah (SWT) and seeking forgiveness from no one else more than ever in the Month of Ramadan and this all is said to be done.
But there is something that requires your attention, we all do seek and focus on the benefits and rewards promised in this month, but have we ever thought of the mistakes that we are capable of making in such a Holy Month.
Well, I know what your answer would be and probably that is why below are some mistakes to avoid especially in the Month of Ramadan:

IFTAAR PARTIES:
It has been encouraged by Islam that inviting one and another to break fast is good and considered highly, but in the name of socialism and modernism some masses have taken this quite far which leads to those acts that are strictly forbidden in Islam such as flirting, disappearance of Hijaab, mixing, dancing of different sexes is forbidden.

RAMADAN As RITUAL:
For many of us certain things have just become things of mere repetition which has made us lose the originality and the actual cause the actual intention and the actual reason which ISLAM has obligated us to do, thus for many Ramadan has become a ritual for many without even knowing the reason why we fast.

FOOD & DRINK:
For some food and drink has become more than anything and while they are fasting all they can think of where to break their fast and when would be the time for that.

COOKING TAKES TIME:
For many wives that is a problem and they are often found cooking the entire day which is very wrong, Ramadan is the month of blessings and forgiveness you are expected to make most out of it by praying, fasting, reciting Quran, worshipping rather than cooking or wasting time planning for cooking.

EATING LIKE ANYTHING:
We have developed a habit of eating more than we can take and filling our bellies up has become a norm which is not according to SUNAH and thus is very wrong as we are always told to be moderate.
The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “The son of Adam does not fill any vessel worse than his stomach; for the son of Adam a few mouthfuls are sufficient to keep his back straight. If you must fill it, then one-third for food, one-third for drink and one-third for air.” (Tirmidhi, Ibn Maajah.  saheeh by al-Albaani).

SLEEPING ALL DAY:
People are with the understanding that sleeping while fasting is great as they wont feel that much that they are fasting and will keep away from other eating and talking distractions. Well, negligence is never excused and this is what they are liable to as they should be the ones gathering the blessings of this Month to the maximum rather than sleeping and wasting precious time.
